Xavi slammed his players after draw against GranadaCommitting too many mistakesBarcelona 10 points behind Real MadridWHAT HAPPENED?
Barcelona managed to hold Granada to a thrilling 3-3 draw at home courtesy of Lamine Yamal's equaliser in the 80th minute. Conceding three goals at their home ground did not please manager Xavi who criticised his players for not making the best of the chances they got in the game and also for committing too many mistakes.
While the manager refused to rule out his team from the title race, he admitted that defending the league this season has become difficult after Sunday's result.

Speaking to after the gameXavi said, "We had our moments, especially when we could score the 2-0. It would have changed everything. And then we made too many mistakes, we can’t afford that. This is also what has killed us this season. Winning La Liga before today was difficult, but now it is even tougher. It’s not impossible.
"We just made too many mistakes. It was the same against Villarreal, our mistakes arrived when the game was in our hands. It’s impossible to compete if you give away so many things on the pitch. It’s impossible to be competitive when you concede three goals at home. Our mistakes come from situations we’ve been working on all week."

The Catalan giants have now dropped four points in their last five La Liga outings as they find themselves 10 points behind league leaders and rivals Real Madrid after 24 matches. The club's backline has performed miserably in the ongoing campaign as they already conceded 33 goals, 18 more than Los Blancos and have managed to keep just one clean sheet in their last 10 games across all competitions.
