A return to Santos, where his career began, has seemed the most likely destination should Neymar decide to play in Brazil again, but a switch to Corinthians has also been raised as a possibility, and ex-Barcelona star Memphis suggested he would be happy to see the attacker join him at the Serie A club.
WHAT NEYMAR SAID
Neymar was quizzed on the prospect of joining the Sao Paulo outfit while on the Brazilian Poker Championship as he declared Santos the "greatest club in the world".
"Greater than anything. It revealed the king [Pele] and the prince [Neymar]… Say something else, say something else. Has anyone done more than this guy here? Take a look," he said, pointing to the crown on the club's crest to symbolise Pele, after a fan asked him to sign a jersey.
"I have a lot of respect for Corinthians, but you have to respect Santos a lot… Santos is my favourite team."
