Most Premier League stars are padding out their social media with holiday snaps due to the winter break.
But Southampton’s goalie Angus Gunn does not fall into that category and while others are being tagged in brilliant images from beaches across the globe, he’s had a rather different experience on social media.
Football site 433 tagged Gunn in a hilarious

The goalie had just taken down Spurs’ Heung-Min Son inside the box and Jose Mourinho’s troops were awarded a penalty kick as a direct result.
Needless to say, Gunn felt like he was innocent and the snap truly depicts the extent of his surprise.
Of course, the image garnered plenty of attention and supporters were quick to comment with their captions on the request of 433, who wanted to see who could come up with the best one.
But interestingly enough, the former Southampton striker Manolo Gabbiadini liked the snap and it seems that he found the snap hilarious as well.
They may only have been teammates on the south coast for a just over six months but it seems the image has made the Italian smile from afar, such is the charm of social media.
To be fair to the Sampdoria man, it’s difficult not to.
Elsewhere, many Southampton fans were drooling over one of their players despite a 3-2 defeat to Spurs in the Cup…
