A new manager is always under intense scrutiny when he takes charge of a club, and that statement certainly applies to Leeds United’s new head coach Paul Heckingbottom.
The Yorkshireman was appointed as the Championship outfit’s new leader this week, just a matter of days after Thomas Christiansen left Elland Road.
Heckingbottom has a big job on his hands as the club currently reside 10th in the table, seven points adrift of the playoff places.
The team have gone six games without a win, but they will be trying to get back on track this weekend when they face Sheffield United away on Saturday.
Following Heckingbottom’s appointment, which was controversial given that he extended his deal at Barnsley just four days prior, the new head coach gave his first official interview.
The Whites provided a snippet of the chat on Twitter, alongside a link to the full video.
The new coach seems to have gotten off on the right foot, with the fans at least.
