Napoli have opened talks with Khvicha Kvaratskhelia over a new contract amid interest from Paris Saint-Germain.

Napoli are working to secure the future of Kvaratskhelia who is considered central to the club's plans for the future, according to Gianluca Di Marzio. The Georgian's contract runs until 2027 and Napoli are thought to have a €100 million (£85m/$109m) offer from PSG on the table for the winger. PSG are keen to land Kvaratskhelia as they seek to bring in replacements for star forward Kylian Mbappe.

Napoli are set to appoint Antonio Conte as the club's new coach and the former Chelsea and Tottenham boss is pushing for the club to keep Kvaratskhelia. Star striker Victor Osimhen's future at the club is also uncertain with Chelsea one of several clubs linked with the Nigerian. It's been a difficult season for Napoli, following their title-winning triumph in 2022-23, and Conte will be eager to start a new era at the club with the team's best players on his return to management.
