As per Fabrizio Romano, Barcelona and Raphinha have reached an agreement to extend his contract with the club. The Liga giants are extremely happy with the squad and management they currently have in place as they plan for more contract extensions in the coming days, with the Brazilian's deal expected to be announced before the end of the week.

After two poor seasons, Raphinha made an exceptional comeback under manager Hansi Flick, who turned the flop signing into one of the leading contenders for the Ballon d'Or. The Catalan club's board is happy with the player and have extended his contract to the summer of 2027, with multiple other contract extensions for players, as well as Flick, in the pipeline.

The 17-year-old is their most valuable asset and they're only waiting for him to turn 18 before they extend his contract. Indeed, with Yamal driving them forward, Barca will have their eye on winning the Champions League next season, with the Catalans closing out their victorious 2024-25 La Liga campaign by traveling to San Mames to face Athletic Club on May 25.
